Our guest house is located in a quiet, very sunny location on the edge of the forest in a small village called "Oberdorf", which is about 1.5 km away from the centre of Castelrotto. We are surrounded by centuries-old farms and have a wonderful view of the village and the spectacular surrounding mountains, such as the Seceda, the Odle/Geisler Peaks and the Santner Peak. A beautiful forest-meadow path leads you directly to Castelrotto, and on the way, you can rest on numerous benches that offer a beautiful view of the Sciliar.
The nearby Val Gardena and the Alpe di Siusi, the largest high plateau in Europe, are truly magical areas of pure nature and are a leisure paradise for the perfect summer or winter holiday.
Leave the A22 motorway at the "Chiusa/Klausen" exit and then turn left on the state road Brennero in the direction of "Ponte Gardena/Waidbruck". Once there, turn left again in the direction of "Altopiano dello Sciliar-Castelrotto/Schlerngebiet-Kastelruth" and shortly afterwards, at the roundabout, immediately turn right in the direction of "Altopiano dello Sciliar-Castelrotto". As soon as you reach the village of "Castelrotto/Kastelruth", continue on the Street Panider in the direction of "San Michele/St. Michael". About 1.5 km away from the centre of the village, after a long straight stretch, turn left at a sharp right-hand bend and you have will arrive at Haus Sabina.
